Your reading pathway
Literary English; B2–C1 suggested. B1 readers may use supported practice. This is an internal estimate, not a CEFR certification.
If the original text feels too difficult, choose Supported. Switch pace between sessions; the original words stay the same. A session is an estimated 10–15 minutes, not a timer you must wait out.

- Read & listen · 4 min
- Words & shadowing · 3 min
- Recall & reflect · 4 min
1. Read for the scene
Find who is present, where they are, and what changes. Read once without stopping, then listen and check details.
2. Keep up to three useful words
Choose words you want to remember. Dictionary meanings are a guide: check which meaning fits this passage. You can also save another word from the text.
3. Borrow the rhythm
Choose one or two sentences. Listen, pause, then say them aloud twice. Pay attention to stressed words and pauses. This practice does not record or score your voice.
4. Recall without looking
Fill each gap with the exact word from the passage. If you need a hint, read it again and retry.
5. Explain the moment
Self-check: did you name the people or setting, explain what happens, and include a detail from the text? This saves your reflection; it does not automatically grade your writing.
